I was pleasantly surprised with this show. When Don Weekes first talked about doing a show on this topic I was not sure how it fit in with our audience. I was wrong. The people he lined up were all top notch experts in their respective areas, well spoken and brilliant. I learned about organizations ...

Re: 737: Joe Spurgeon, PhD - Write a Mold Assessment Report, Not a Data Report
It's always a pleasure talking to Joe Spurgeon. He is a kind and intelligent man with a passion for environmental health. If you sample follow what Joe teaches and hopefully you will avoid being on the other side in court. :D https://www.iaqradio.com/joe-spurgeon-phd-write-a-mold-assessment-report-n...

Re: 736: Tess Eidem, PhD – IEQ, Bioaerosols and Worker Health in Cannabis Manufacturing
This was a fun show with lots of great information. Dr. Eidem has an enthusiasm that is contagious. She knows more about cannabis manufacturing safety and health than anyone I know. Seems like a great opportunity for some Indoor Environmentalists and Industrial Hygienists to get involved in. It's a ...

Re: 735: Don Weekes, CIH, CSP, FAIHA – Bioaerosol Sampling Plans, Indoor Air 2024, ASHRAE/AIHA MOU
As always a great job and interesting interview with Don Weekes. Few if any have done as much for the industry and industry associations. It was interesting to hear what is new from Indoor Air 2024 and get Don's thoughts on why there is not more research on remediation related topics. IICRC and othe...

Great job by Whatley. It's nice to see someone working to get the restoration contractors and insurance companies singing from the same hymnal.

Re: 733: David Krause, PhD, MSPH, CIH, FAIHA Remediation of Microbial Contamination & Legionella
Great job by Dr. Krause. I have wanted to get him on for some time now and the stars lined up perfectly. His many years of service in the industry came through in this interview. Legionella is not talked about enough and even less frequently thought about as an IEQ issue other than in cooling towers...

Re: 732: Seth Harrison – ED Actionable Insights – Scoping with Accuracy: The Actionable Profile
Our thanks to Seth Harrison for a great show. I was not sure how this would go but was extremely happy we did this one. Earlier in the week we talked and Seth showed me things I had never seen about Matterport and Exactimate. As a consultant I had seen Exactimate estimates and invoices but never wor...

Re: 731: J. David Miller, PhD – Bioaerosols, Health Effects, Secondary Metabolites, Endotoxins, & More
This goes down as one of my favorite all time shows. Dr. Miller is eloquent and backs everything he says with science. Eventually people will figure out that its not mycotoxins but fungal glucans that we should be more concerned with. For years we have looked for the reason mold causes health issues...

Re: Episode 729: Tony Havics, Cheri Marcham, Jack Springston – ACGIH Bioaerosols Assessment and Control
I missed a few of the comments while doing the interview. We had a lively and knowledgeable live audience for this show. Looking forward to the Z-Man's blog. I want to thank our guests Tony, Cheri and Jack for joining us and for their hard work on this document. I also want to thank all the other co...

Re: Episode 726: Steven C. Cooper, MS & Gavin Macgregor-Skinner, MPH, MRCVS - Disinfection Technologies
Very interesting interview today. Sometimes its surprising to learn nuances of techniques like electrostatic spraying. There are many variables in the disinfection arena. The key seems to be training but most of the training is probably being done by people selling equipment that may or may not be t...
