Re: Episode 726: Steven C. Cooper, MS & Gavin Macgregor-Skinner, MPH, MRCVS - Disinfection Technologies
Very interesting interview today. Sometimes its surprising to learn nuances of techniques like electrostatic spraying. There are many variables in the disinfection arena. The key seems to be training but most of the training is probably being done by people selling equipment that may or may not be t...

Re: Episode: 725 - May Dooley - In Memoriam
It was a tough day for the IAQ Radio team. May Dooley was an inspiration to many including me. I regularly recruited guests that would be able to help answer some of the questions May was always wrestling with. J David Miller is just one example of course Sal LaDuca is another. May was always workin...

Great job by Dr. Chapman, Best of luck with the new sampler.
I was hoping there was some progress on a low cost sensor that would cover allergens but it seems we will have to be content with particle counts that do not show us much in that respect.

Re: Episode 717: J. David Miller, PhD - Relative Humidity; It’s More Than Just Mold
We always love having Dr. Miller join us. This week was no exception. I probably should have asked somebody about Wallemia long ago but finally asked Dr. Miller. I keep hearing from researchers how common the organism is in indoor environments but never see it in lab reports, etc. Why? It seems that...

Re: Episode 715: Gigi Kwik Gronvall, PhD - Richard Bruns, PhD - Johns Hopkins Model State Indoor Air Quality Act
For me this was a thought provoking interview with Drs Burns and Gronvall. After today's interview I have to agree with the approach of trying to get this done at the state level. The states are supposed to act as proving grounds in some ways for federal regulation. Taking this approach makes sense ...

Thanks Bill great job as always. The standard was a big lift and you were the right person to see it through. Cliff's trivia question was apropos.

Re: Episode 710: Tom Laubenthal - Asbestos and Lead - Past, Present & Future
It was a pleasure to get to talk to Tom on IAQ Radio+. I know understand better why he commands so much respect from the asbestos and lead industry world. Asbestos and lead have been huge drivers of indoor environmental quality issues and answers for years. I started out in this industry as an asbes...

Re: Episode 709: Andy Sall - The Business Interruption Guy
Our thanks to Andy for joining us this week. It was a sobering interview for anyone that has a business. Are you covered if your business is interupted? What is covered? What do you do if your now sure or you have been denied coverage. Andy showed us how to find the answers to these and many more qu...

Re: Episode 708: Nate Adams - “The House Whisperer” - The Importance of Air Sealing for IAQ and Energy Efficiency
Nate Adams saves the day. Thank you Nate! Comcast intenet is expensive and unfortunately not nearly as reliable as it should be. In spite of this host's losing internet at least 10 times Nate carried on and did a great job. Our audience learned why air sealing is so important for IAQ and energy and ...
