Show Resources: 12:03:45 From Cliff Zlotnik : Trivia: At the 2004 annual senate class photo, in an exchange with Senator Patrick Leahy, VP Dick Cheney dropped an "F Bomb" on the Senate floor. Name the journalist who then wrote an opinion piece in favor of use of the word which was published in the Washington Post?
12:07:02 From Don Weekes : Seymour Hersh
12:07:51 From Cliff Zlotnik : sorry Don incoorect
12:08:23 From Don Weekes : David Shuster
12:11:04 From Cliff Zlotnik : sorry incorrect
12:12:38 From Chris White : I cheated and looked it up. Not who I expected!

12:15:57 From Don Weekes : Jennifer Rubin
12:17:33 From Chris White : Yes! Also licensing requirements, if applicable.
12:24:31 From Ed Light : The science does not support inclusion of microbial testing for post remedial verification of mold and sewage remediation. These data are not associated with health risk or contamination. Reliance on measured microbial concentrations can result in false- positive or -negative conclusions. Visual and moisture assessment, along with confirmation of work practices, is consistent with the science. Can you cite conclusive studies validating the use of test data to confirm restoration?
12:30:52 From Chris White : Spot on. Too many times we see no specific PRV criteria before work starts, and it makes it really tough for the contractor to achieve if they start off at a disadvantage.
12:48:54 From Ed Light : Aren’t sewage-related pathogens no longer a health risk after conditions are dry? Why do you support testing after confirmation that a sewage-impacted area is confirmed dry?
12:56:12 From BaZ : you never know what backs up after a sewage event. All depends on location. Would love to see samples analyzed across the country and broken down to see, but it's a lot.
12:57:35 From Chris White : Pete can’t stay long, he has some YouTube cooking videos to shoot 😂
12:57:45 From Radio Joe : Reacted to "Pete can’t stay long..." with 😂
13:08:32 From Ed Light : In dozens of litigation cases, I've successfully challenged both defendants and plaintiffs on drawing conclusions from microbial testing. I summarized several of these cases in In my presentation at a Johnson Conference. I also published a paper comparing the range of mold concentrations in Base Buildings with and without water damage. Both conditions were so variable, that background could not be distinguished from contamination.
13:12:20 From Ed Light : Although IAQ Radio provides excellent information related to the restoration industry, it's coverage of the science consistently ignores the lack of science supporting the use of microbial testing. On d again, you've failed to include my questions and comments related to this
13:12:25 From BaZ : nice to see you Pete
13:12:40 From BaZ : great discussion. Some great OG's here.
13:12:54 From Chris White : Great one as usual guys. Hope to see y’all soon.
13:13:44 From Radio Joe : Reacted to "Great one as usual g..." with 👍
